Spiritually Laid Back

In the interest of the truth

I am faced with a readership which wishes to live in darkness and denial of the truth. I get emails regularly denying all the predictions made by the one who calls himself Kalki and Sri Bhagavan. And these are predictions I have heard with these ears from the "holy" orifice of the one who calls himself God.

Either the ones leaving comments are dishonest, or perhaps they are new (joined after 2004), or perhaps not informed. The best i can do for you hypnotised folks is to remove the pictures of VK from here (done that), and remove my comments on him. My comments and analysis. But in the interest of the truth i CANNOT remove what he himself said in the lawn darshans, and what his dasas said. And how they fleeced us. And how they pressurized us to get more people into this MLM (multi-level marketing) scheme, this spiritual AMWAY. These things happened and are not opinion.

No matter how much you scream and shout and defend. The more comments you leave denying the truth, i will highlight  it even more. The predictions of doom are a reality used against us to get more people. The predictions of spreading in the north were spoken in lawn darshans in 2004-5. If you do not know about the above, then you do not know about your so called God. You are in denial or living a lie.

Most of the people i came across in the K cult, were really decent people — some in trouble, some in pain of some sort. Most people in India are poor and suffering anyway — easy targets for someone promising to alleviate their suffering. First for free. Then for donations and paid darshans (when nothing really happens). And then for getting more and more people in. THats where all these Mahadeekshas and their levels come in. You will NOT get your so-called enlightenment even in Level 3 of the MD. then they will invent some other thing. And keep feeding on your hopes.

Those who left the K cult, left not because they got no grace. They left because the true satguru pulled them out, showed them the light. At the right time, God (the Self) rescues us from fake gurus. But you have to be ready for that. Ready for the truth. Acco to Sri Nisargadatta, when the seeker is sincere, the true Guru comes. The fake guru is a sign of an insincere seeker. When we were in the K cult, we too were insincere seekers. Wanting boons, and other material gains. Our bhakti was for our own material gain. It is only when you are fit for bhakti for bhakti’s sake, that the real Guru can appear.

It is precisely the grace of the Lord, that has pulled us out of the K cult. Pulled us out of darkness and ignorance. Perhaps the Lord sent us there to see and recognize the farce, so we could be free of it.

MAY YOU SEE THE LIGHT, MAY YOU SEE THE TRUTH.

Has Tapasya dasa left the Kalki cult?

It appears that Tapasya dasa has finally left the Kalki cult. At least nothing else makes sense to us. Someone is manically putting in comments pretending to be the owner of this blog, and saying that s/he is actually Tapasya who had psychiatric problems and childhood problems etc.

Now this seems like a very cheap way of hitting at some person. I can hardly imagine anyone announcing such things in a blog about himself.

So it seems Kalki’s stooges are now hitting below the belt, hiiting out at dasas who had the sense to leave, to save their own lives before they were devoured by the dark energy of Kalki and crew.

And if you are Tapasya, which you aren’t, has your dear God Kalki asked you to issue public apologies and run yourself down like this. Tsk Tsk, how shameful. Whether you speak the truth about being Tapasya, or a lie, you shame your own so-called guru.

Kalki’s devotees are a sad lot

One can’t help feel a bit sad for all those devotees of Kalki who are unable to face the truth even after seeing thru the whole scam.

Someone left a large number of comments on a post claiming to be "Tapasya" a dasa of Kalki and Amma. Claiming that she/he was the blog author and had maligned KB all this while due to her own psychiatric problems and was extremely sorry. And ofcourse then saying how great KB was, and he was God blah blah blah. (Why am i even wasting time responding to some nutcase?).

If I had to say anything to all readers, I would say so in a blog post (like this one), and NOT in a comment.

Well, guess what … I knew or remember Tapasya dasa, and I don’t think she was a psychiatric case (who the commenter claimed was not allowed to attend deeksha cos she had psych problems). Or to put it another way, by that logic ALL dasas must be mental in some ways to throw their lives away like this, to fool themselves for so long.

So whoever this bag-of-nuts is, who left 8 comments, you are only showing what fools all devs of K are.

The purpose of this blog was never to bash Kalki, which still doesn’t mean that if some persons (kalki and company) steer people away from the truth, then others will not point this out. The truth remains (as has been said by Sri Krishna in the Gita) that the Lord/Paramatman resides in ALL beings. There is nothing other than God. There is no single person or couple who are God. And we will ridicule anyone claiming to be the only God.

If you wish to know the truth, you have to go no further than Sri Ramana Maharshi. (K has particularly denounced Ramana so that his followers don’t accidentally discover the real truth. Devotees and dasas of K would do themselves a great favor by reading the simple teachings of Ramana Maharshi). Love to all of you.

Big Time Gurus

Just what is wrong with big time gurus ? Is it just a lust for power (which also implies money, sex, having a nice piece of whoever comes along, whenever you want it, for free, your right in fact). Or is there some serious pathology linked with it … such as NPD (Narcissist Personality Disorder).

Here’s what wikipedia gives as the criteria for judgment:

At least five of the following are necessary for a diagnosis (as with many DSM diagnoses, they must form a pervasive pattern; for example, a person who shows these criteria only in one or two relationships or situations would not properly be diagnosed with NPD):

  1. has a grandiose sense of self-importance
  2. is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love
  3. believes that he or she is "special" and unique and can only be understood by other special people
  4. requires excessive admiration
  5. strong sense of entitlement
  6. takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends
  7. lacks empathy
  8. is often envious or believes others are envious of him or her
  9. arrogant affect

Now lets pick any one guru of the many floating around … okay let’s take Kracki the whackie, VK, self declared God, Kalki Bhagavan, etc and check him out point for point. Let’s test drive the bugger.

MATCHING DIAGNOSTIC CRITERIA of NPD with VK (aka Kalki aka Kracki)

  1. has a grandiose sense of self-importance - Give him 10 on 10 for this. Thinks he is GOD, the saviour, higher than the Buddha, Ramana, Christ and ALL others. The only liberator etc, etc. Incarnation of "Delusions of Grandeur".
  2. is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love - Full marks here too. Wants to take over the world. Has a temple being built for himself so he can be immortalized forever.
  3. believes that he or she is "special" and unique and can only be understood by other special people - You bet your stinky butt. No one fits this bill better than "Kalki Bhagavan" does. Calls himself God and everything else. Claims on video that he comes from a cosmic conscious whereas all the others come from "some sort of planetary consciousness". To understand him you have to undergo his Mukti Deeksha (brainwashing, paid ofcourse) first. (Guess what, we still don’t understand the old fart)
  4. requires excessive admiration - that’s an underrstatement, requires devotion and worship by all, after all that follows if you have declared yourself to be The God.
  5. strong sense of entitlement - Yup, he is entitled to everyone’s money, belongings and life
  6. takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends - check. takes advantage, take everything in fact
  7. lacks empathy - check again. Doesn;t care for followers once they have done him service and spread his crack
  8. is often envious or believes others are envious of him or her - well, very envious of Buddha and Ramana, and does all he can to run down truly enlightened people
  9. arrogant affect - see previous points.

Now check your Guru out.

Predictions of Kalki Bhagavan

(Note: The predictions stated below are ABSOLUTELY TRUE and have been witnessed by hundreds of partipants to the Lawn Darshans. I am getting many comments that these are false. This only shows that people defending K, are either not informed, or are telling lies to protect KB. These predictions will not be removed).

Predictions of doom are a great way to augment one’s business. So we learn from correspondent nayanar. In 2004-2005, Vijay Kumar (who claims to be the 10th avatar of Vishnu, and The Kalki Bhagavan/Avatar) predicted disaster for the city of Mumbai (aka Bombay). Kalki predicted (in public darshans) Mumbai would slide into the sea, or crumble like a biscuit dipped in hot tea. And so to save Mumbai it was necessary that a certain number of people (several thousands) from the state of Maharashtra achieve the mahadeeksha. And to achieve mahadeeksha required sending 60 peple for the deeksha (costing Rs 5000), plus of course many paid donations of far more that that sum.

Only then could Mumbai be saved from crumbling into the Indian Ocean. And so crazed devotees, brainwashed and frightened by gory predictions of death and destruction went on a rampage through the state of Maharashtra convincing all and sundry to come for the deeksha to save their relatives in Mumbai, their state and its major city.

Similar targets of several thousand mahadeekshas were laid out for other states, although these were never publicly revealed. For all of these deadlines were also laid out, the penalty of course really being death for that city/state.

In his public darshans, it was also revealed that about 60% of mankind would be destroyed in a mega-tsunami that would come in 2006. A few months later, others gave me a figure of 90% !!! Of course, the only way to prevent all this was those 64,000 people who had to get enlightened, for whom 64,000 times 60 had to have the deeksha. If we go only by Indian costs, at a rate of Rs 41 per dollar, this comes to 470 million dollars. Add to that the donations that must be given for Amma’s darshan, Bhagavan’s darshan (Rs 100,000 then, now far more pricey we hear) and washing her dainty feet for Rs 100,000 (old rates, her feet are more expensive now) and you have a much larger sum.

The above prediction of global doom was carried over to the north by his dasas such as Pavitra and Rupali. In one place the dasa stated (smiling) that the Indo-Pakistan problem would be finished since there would be no Pakistan left.

Of course all this money was not for Krishna, the prodigal son sitting in the US with a real estate business, or for his own future, but for that monstrous Oneness Temple that was to finish by June 2004, which was never to immortalize his name, but only for the enlightenment of mankind.

It makes sense that the public darshans have stopped, for now one can never quote Vijay Kumar (Sri Kalki Bhagavan) as having said or predicted anything. Orders/predictions etc will henceforth spring forth from his enlightened, celibate dasas whose words can always later be refuted.

However, unlike Indian drop-outs who rarely speak out, westerners are vocal, so the truth will come out.

Compassion exists in this world

Compassion and humanity do exist in this cruel world, as I was pleasantly surprised to find last night. But in the hearts of ordinary people, not the Vijay Kumar/Kalki Bhagavan’s and Ammas of this world.

Accident found us watching a movie about a medical student who goes on a tour of South America. The tour takes him through lands impoverished, to the San Peblo leper colony where he spends several weeks as a medico-volunteer. Ernesto is a regular guy, falling in love with girls, having fun, not a stuffy spiritual type. The movie shows his love for the inmates of the leper colony whom the nuns refuse to touch. He refuses gloves and shakes hands with lepers breaking the rules laid out by the nuns, which include not giving food to those who don’t attend mass.

His parting with the inmates is especially touching. It is to be seen. Made me feel ashamed, being such a spiritual type myself, it brought tears to my Kalki-hardened heart. The movie is "The Motorcycle Diaries".

Thank God there is love and compassion in our world, and it doesn’t require a Kracki and his fat-as-a-tick gluttonous wife to awaken.

Narcotics on Oneness University campus

As the shit begins to hit the ceiling of the Oneness University Dhyana Mandir, we realize that Vijay Kumar (aka Kalki Bhagavan aka Sri Bhagavan) is not an iota better than Sathya Sai Baba or the other megalomaniac freaks claiming to be divine:

"They both said the same thing independently of each other: the “Oneness Lehyam” is narcotic substances (one said it sounded like a mixture of LSD, Ecstasy and Ayhuasca). I do not know what Lehyam is, but I know that when they stopped using Lehyam in the 21 days process, people no longer got any peak experiences." - Freddie N.

Maharaj on Self-enquiry

"If you trust me, believe when I tell you that you are the pure awareness that illumines consciousness and its infinite content. Realise this and live accordingly.

If you do not believe me, then go within, enquiring ‘What am I?’ or, focus your mind on ‘I am’, which is pure and simple being."

What is beautiful about the story of Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj is his faith in his guru, which lead him to follow his guru’s instruction without question.

Contrasting this are teachers such as J Krishnamurthy who ask us not to believe anything. To start with an unconditioned mind. Which makes sense too. But how do you get that unconditioned mind? JK speaks of meditation, but as yet (I have read half of The Awakening of Intelligence), he hasn’t yet explained his form of meditation. JK talks about this and that, good and evil, the problems of the world, religion, you name it … IMO well suited for intellectuals.

Ramana Maharshi did not spend his life talking about good and evil, and other philosophical topics. Bhagavan Ramana always pointed us back to the "I", the direct path. Ramana’s advice was for each person who came, not restricted to the privileged class.

Celibate Kalki dasa and his porn-trips

More enlightening tid-bids from the Oneness University of Amma and Vijay Kumar (aka Kalki Bhagavan/Sri Bhagavan):

It was the end of the process and he (Pragyanand) returned the computer after having had it for a day or two. I was utterly shocked to see that, on my desktop, he had left a link to a porn-site. I did not know if I was going to tell Bhagavan that his monk was looking at porn-movies across Bhagavan’s house. This was prohibited in the Ashram, even for non-monks. On the other hand, I knew he had been very kind to me during my process, and I liked him as a person and felt very sorry for him, so I decided to keep quiet. He does not even know that I discovered this porn-link that accidentally happened to remain on the desktop after his use.

Sex is of course natural, and many people watch porn movies. Is that wrong? I think it’s up to each person to choose. However, to do it as a monk after asking all others in the campus not even to have thoughts about sex, and then hide your own porn-trips and not “walk your talk” – that is a different story.

Pragyanand was very special in Bhagavan’s eyes. Anandagiri told me that Pragyanand was for quite some time the only dasa permanently living in the same campus as Bhagavan and one of the very, very few to meet Bhagavan daily.

I mentioned before that some Swedish girls had complained to me that male dasas were looking at them with lustful eyes, and I remember that Pragyanand was among them.

Carl Sagan of Spirituality

Kiara trying to be a Carl Sagan

Now that the book "Fire from Heaven" is out, I guess Kiara Sagan, oh sorry, Kiara Windrider, cannot back off from Kalki Bugwan. Carl, er Kiara, talks of the usual pseudo-scientific crap, Violet children, indigo children, super-races and now something called Ilahinoor. I never knew fecal matter could be so smelly. It’s basically more of that deeksha crap with some pseudo-astrophysics thrown in to improve credibility.

Much like they tried to bring in the pseudo-neurobiological angle using Christian Opitz. Hold your nose and click on this.

Kiara quotes a "scientist" named Paul LaViolette (who from whatever i can find on the net seems like another Von Danikin), here’s a tidbit that hit me:

Ilahinoor is a cosmic evolutionary energy. Like many other such energies sweeping the planet today, its purpose is to help humanity awaken to its infinite potential. Astrophysicist Paul LaViolette refers to a “galactic superwave”, emanating from the super-charged center of our Milky Way galaxy that pulses through our solar system every 13,000 years or so. Although this superwave, traveling close to the speed of light, has not reached us here in our solar system yet, it seems that we could be in the preparatory phases for it. Our bodies, hearts, and minds are being gradually re-wired in anticipation of the rather sudden evolutionary energies that may shortly be coming our way.

First reaction: if the superwave is travelling at close to the speed of light, then how on earth can you know it is coming before it does !!!! If it has not even reached the solar system, then how can anyone detect it.
"The energies may shortly be coming our way", at the speed of light, let us not forget.

Thus, i hope readers will forgive me for jumping to the conclusion that "Fire from Heaven" or hell for all i care, and whatever scientific theories are presented in it, are just a crock of shit that should be washed down the toilet with your next dump.

Coffee-without-Jody Day

This is one of those awful mornings when you wake up to chirping birds, and a cup of steaming strong coffee but you find that there’s nothing on guruphiliac to read with the coffee! Now i suddenly don’t know whether i need the coffee more, or Jody!

So i clicked absently on some of the links which Jody thankfully provides (avoiding my own). The Chi-Ting Guru Gossip really made my morning. I am quite a regular at Tiruvannamalai (seeker, not Guru) and I am often irritated by the stream of funny-named so-called Gurus who land up in winter like an infestation of some vermin, all claiming spiritual connections with Arunachala or Ramana. I was thrilled to see that "Kevinananda" does a nice take on them. Some excerpts, but you must read the full details on this page.

"… I know a thing or two about fraud! Since I relocated to my winter residence in Tiruvannamalai, I have noticed that seasonal trickle of Guru’s on the make, has become a veritable flood. Like a dose of dysentry flushing out the colon, they linger for a short while and then evacuate themselves to more fiscally rewarding pastures, leaving a rank and pungent stench behind them"

[Ed: Yup, he could not have put it better. And one of the places in India they evacuate themselves to is Dharamshala. The others places are the cooler climes of Europe and Southern California. The next one is about a chap called Florian Tathagatha (haha, hilarious name) who claims connections to Ramana. I too saw him frequently at the Seshadri Cafe making silly gestures with the waiters and children nearby, trying to put on the "enlightened" act. How horrible it must be, having to fake being enlightened! ]

"Apparently he has the finest sound system in Tiruvannamalai, it must be great listening to his own voice in an empty hall. He is often seen outside Sri Seshadri Ashram on the Chengam Road trying to mug (sorry hug!!!) passers by. He possesses an inherently evil smile, which marks him out as another day release from the Nuremburg Nazi hall of fame."

[Now here’s one about the hilariously named Mooji. One can clearly visualize the cow mooing. Saw him going round town on a mobike with a white lady stuck to his back. Posters stuck outside shops and cafes spoke of the "fire of self-enquiry" that he got from Papaji. Westerners must realize that when you visit a place, you respect the culture of that place. Tiru is not the place you enjoy mobike rides wrapped up in women.]

Mooji was destined to be another sad case standing outside Brixton tube station, selling 10 pound bags of weed, smack and crack. Unfortunately after a trip to India and a stay with Papaji, he hit on the jolly wheeze of becoming a guru and scamming the stupid.

[Ed: there are a bunch of other scoundrels too on that wonderful page. What His Holiness Kevinananda forgets to mention is that Kracki’s goons are also infesting Tiru, one Romanian couple were even giving their infernal deeksha on the top of Arunachala!!! Of course, they were asking for a decent figure for their "deeksha", all this on Arunachala.]

The purpose of this post was not to make fun of the non-Indians offering satsangs and programs in Tiru. You will find enough posters of smiling indians too, stuck by the sewers on the road side, offering grace and bliss. It’s just that their choice of names is just not funny enough as the above two. So go on and check the side bar on guruphiliac, on a rainy day, when Jody is not slapping Kracki and his wife with a large trout on their ever-widening butt cheeks

How I got enlightened for 5000 bucks

This post truthfully narrates how I (and Freddyji, and Kiaraji, and millions of others) got enlightened. Yes, we did. Glory to us! Kalki Bhagavan and Amma are absolutely great and sooo loving etc etc blah blah blah.

Stooges, losers and suckers can close this page now, please.

I am tired of hearing from commenters how "full of hatred" I am. I would like to ask you, what would you do if you spent a lot of money buying a car, computer, fridge and it didn’t work. And you realized it could never. Would you sit quietly and buy another one, never uttering a word, or warning anyone else.

Some condescending, smart commenters pop in to say "You get what you look for". So does that excuse someone for selling fake cars/computers or medicines or anything else. If someone handed you counterfeit currency or fake medicine, can i say that was what you were looking for?

All i can say is, sadly, such people are born suckers, and you will learn the hard way, if you learn at all.

I certainly will make my voice heard. If you don’t like it, keep away.

Nominating Christian Opitz for Nobel Award

Here’s what the talk page on wikipedia on Oneness University has to say on Christian Opitz, the so-called scientist who says that K’s deeksha/blessing/whatever causes neuro-biological changes in the recipients brain.
(provided the recipient has one- haha - now you know why i was saved).

Citing Christian Opitz as a scientist is like refering to Von Däniken as a archeologist or David Icke as a sociologist. [Ed: or Mandira Bedi as a cricket player] The "deeksha" phenomenon is a phenomenon of sorts, a bluff product being spread at a remarkable speed. The amazing thing being the kind of Multi Level Marketing scheme behind it making people pay as much as 5000$ for a course to get axess to the brand deekcha, ie the cults license to use their product. The license can be revoked should the believer fall from grace.

Anyway, I am willing to solemnly swear that the deeksha certainly caused non-refundable neuro-biological changes in my bank balance.

Oh, btw, i know someone who says that his ability to solve puzzles reduced dramatically after the deeksha, in fact, he was unable to solve some puzzles that he had previously done without a sweat, a year previously. Perhaps, the deeksha does a lobotomy of sorts … puzzling thought, you will agree :-) … but i am serious about the puzzle guy.

Deeksha Update - money refund, you got it !

I found a link pointing here from an "inbetweengirl", seemed to be quite open-minded about the Oneness Deeksha, and asking others to be open-minded too. Then, i came across a more recent link on her site called Deeksha Lessons" where she finally comes to her senses (hopefully).

Worth reading from the link itself (http://inbetweengirl.wordpress.com/2007/01/06/the-deeksha-cultlessons/ ) but here’s the opener for the lazy…

"I am having a hard time getting my money refunded from the people at the Oneness Movement.  They have been extremely “nice” but they are basically charging me in order to refund the money.  God, I wish I never gave them the fucking money in the first place.  It’s another expensive lesson, but the same one over and over - listen to myself, not any one else who claims to have some kind of “answer”.

(snip)

But now I have to deal with these mo-fo’s to get the money back.  And I am learning about cults and mind-control as I try to navigate through their system of niceties and bullshit.  They have me by the balls.  I want to write an expose on them before they get much larger, but who the hell has heard of deeksha?  Or, as they call it now, Oneness Deeksha or Oneness Prayer.  That edict came down from on high last week - maybe the authorities are getting on to the deeksha name.

The last time I was given this lesson to listen to my intuition, it came as a huge fucking wallop of a slap up against the side of my head.  Took me two years to get over that one.  And now it comes up again, same thing, different situation and luckily it’s only money this time. "

 Makes one feel like crying.

Pseudo-enlightenment or getting spiritually laid

Or even a case of sour grapes for this unliberated soul, u mite say!

It is sooo sad, how people on this path, can get so desperate to be enlightened that they can (or their egos can) finally create an enlightened ego/self, which thinks it has died, that there is no one there etc. I really hate to mention specifics, becos then it becomes a hate campaign, but if i don’t then there is no example to show the desperation.

After Freddyji’s leaving his "guru" i was waiting and waiting for when the other leading westerner, K Windbreaker (name changed to protect ego) would call it a day, and confess he had got laid spiritually. But he did a greater one on himself, by declaring himself enlightened. His description of course clearly reveals its own falsity. If he had to fake it, he could have at least read Sri Ramana or some others and faked it properly.

Here is some of the crap KW writes:

"I had always seen enlightenment as the end of my spiritual journey, the ultimate in human attainment. I now see that it is merely another beginning. Enlightenment is both an event and a process. The event corresponds to the restructuring of the brain following the ‘diksha’. It is also an ever-deepening process. Consciousness has its own intelligence, its own cycles, and it is an endless journey of discovery."

And so here we have it. The illusion still hasn’t ended, there is STILL someone there, experiencing change, experiencing some "ever-deepening". And so KW has laid himself.
Interestingly, for a couple of years after he attended the ‘dicksha’, he had admitted not being enlightened and that Bugwan told him it would happen soon. But KW’s business (books, workshops etc) could not wait. Now he has gone back and re-written the whole thing to appear as though he did get enlightened.

And so we have one more enlightened ego on the loose.
Someone writes:
"I work as a healer and gave a treatment to a lady in Germany who just came back from the 21 days trip in India with (name removed). There was absolutely no trace of super divine light; she was full of entities and other wierd stuff. I didn’t tell her anything because I knew she would tell me I’m an idiot. She had already planned the next trip to see (name removed)!!!
Anyway, ultimatly it’s their karma! "

Here’s what an acquaintance of the divine couple has to say:
"I used to know ***** Bug-wan as Vijay Kumar, a clerk in the Life Insurance Corp of India. He was involved in running a school in Rajupeta. He used to be quite a charlatan. He was a basically promoted by a naive and gullible Dr. Shankar , a former Principal of Valley school. These two chaps got the land through Dr. Rajasekar Reddy and Mr.Shreeniwas.

It is your choice: You can join this band and live a lie or you could see through such Charlatans and dare to live alone. This ***** fellow has stolen the ideas of J.Krishnamurti, Osho, Vipasana and others. He is a veteran crook!"

So if you still want to be gang-banged, head on to South-India with only $6000 in your pocket for 21 days, and if you are indian, you get laid a lot faster, at a heavy discount (in 3 days for about Rs 5000). But that’s just the account opener. Soon the demands for the Rs 100,000 darshans start coming in.

What more can i say? I am quite speechless.

Please Help Me

Every now and then I get a mail like this one (name of "guru" removed, so as not to offend delicate readers).

"Hi
this is (name removed).
we are confused about (guru’s  name/s) it wud be very helpful if u let us know y are u left (guru’s name/s) as we are also facing some problems.
please be kind to reply
it is very urgent
thank u"

Now on one hand, i have no desire left to bad-mouth people. Yet, should I sit silently while someone else faces the same problem I did. In my professional line, I would gladly give you advice of good and bad products and how to work around problems, free of cost, so can I not help a bit in this field. Or is the spirit of surrender to apply only to the spiritual field. Sri Ramana says something like, "as long as you think you are the doer, if you see a hungry person on the road, you should help out".

And so once again, at the expense of a barrage of hate-mail, and being told how much i must be suffering and in pain, i shall put out some thoughts, names removed so people are less offended.

Being a complete blithering idiot, I asked an intelligent friend whether I should reply or just keep mum in the spirit of surrender. Here is part of the reply i got which i quote.

"I came to the conclusion that (name/s removed) is/are not really enlightened beings, but people exploiting those who long for liberation or happiness. Those who go to them may feel better temporarily, but this is just a trap. Soon (as you have likely found out) you will be asked for more and more service (recruiting others), and more and more money, and the "finish line" will always be pulled back.

Real Gurus do exist, but they never ask for money or make promises of easy enlightenment. or lay claim to miracles."

The friend goes on to later say "if you send something along those lines, brief and true, you may help him scramble out of that pit. If someone asks for spiritual help, I think it is right to respond. We know of the greatest help that has ever existed, and it seems appropriate to let anyone who asks know of (removed)"

My only other addition to the above is to google the guru’s name and see what comes up. The internet is not all truth but you will still get an idea. The same goes for Sarlo’s Guru Ratings and Guruphiliac. One hour of internet searching can save you many wasted months of chasing some megalomaniac and years of hard-earned money.

Oh Well

All i get on this lousy blog is some hate mail, usually from some kracki-ite, i guess. My mail box is full of mails from those hypnotized robots devs asking me to fill in a form about the miracles happening in my life thanks to K.
The only miracle that happened is that I got out of that cult alive, before they emptied my bank balance, and hypntoized the hell out of me.

I get SMS’s from those sorry folk telling me to hold a pen thinking of K, and K will write using my hand. Now I know he totally remote controls those zombies, but no thanks please. Enough is enough!

In a week or two when i am back online, i shall delete this blog. So take it off your bookmarks, find a better place to kill time. Find someone else to blindly follow who can take away all you have, in return for a larger ego. Its your life. If it is in your destiny to make the same mistakes i did, go ahead make ‘em. Don’t ever ever make the mistake of learning from someone else’s mistakes. You have many many more lives, I assure you, to make/repeat mistakes, to suffer, to be duped.

Enjoy the illusion.

Freddy Bhagavan better than Kalki now

Dear Freddy-ji after leaving the Kalki charade, has started his own show promising 100% cures and other miracles on phone. We just got a email from Freddy Bhagavan and Madeliene Amma. Some of it is quoted below, gory details ommitted. However, they surely seem to be more miraculous than KB and gang.

Almost 100% were healed over the phone

Freddy just completed an OpenLife tour in Russia – 10 towns. Howard Wills joined the groups over the phone. 99% of the people reported that ALL their lower back pains were healed – it took just 3-5 minutes .

People did not know what to say, as they had never heard of similar results before. The middle part of the spine as well as upper (incl. shoulders and neck problems) were little less, approx. 90% said they were healed.

In Freddy’s courses this winter and spring, Howard plans to take part over the phone and do a similar healing (incl. deep union with the Light and spinal healing) and if time permits, even more parts of the body.

Aliyah – one of the most gifted psychic ever – is coming to USA (May) for the first time

"It was completely amazing that Aliyah was so incredibly accurate with everything. I got huge amounts of specific information that no one else could have given me without knowing me."
Harald Kjellin, Stockholm, Professor

"Aliyah gave me a karmic diagnoses so profound as only my higher Self could have given me. She told about all important things and more in my soul, and made me see things there that I had not noticed. She did not only give 100% accurate information, she always told me how to get free of all the blocks hindering the perfect flow in my life."

The email goes on and on, giving program schedules, prices not mentioned. Deeksha and program levels are spoken of. Is Jody Ratzig keeping track of Freddy or is he lost in the doings of the boring SSRS, MMY and other non-entities.

Sunyata on Guruphiliac

Recently, this unassuming and unworthy blog was thrust into the limelight by the kind attention of Jody"Guruphiliac" Radzik.  Well, he was  generous enough to think that  we (i mean "I" really, but i love the way he calls himself "we")
have had a major transformation. Well, as truth has it, we haven’t, we are scarecly anymore advanced on Kalki Bhagavan’s enlightenment evolutionary scale of 1000, than his (Jody’s) imaginary dog’s posterior.

But we can’t resist declaring from the rooftop that the bhakti of our Beloved Lord has removed all the rancour against the one we previously ranted against here quite an bit. Completely, totally, no question of ever going back on it.

Which is not to say that things were right there. That we condone them. (Today we understand by what unethical means "experiences" were triggered in us and others close to us, including family members, some of those unethical techniques rather long-lasting, unfortunately). We have spoken, it was recorded by others, posted around, quoted in several places, so our silence today doesn’t make a difference. It is just that the internal struggle against it, the asking God, "Why did it have to happen with me?" - all that is gone. I understand why God sent me there, I thank Him for pulling me out fast, I thank God for clearing my mind so that i could recognized, accept and fall at the feet of my Beloved Sadguru.

There is such a deep need in the bhakta to love everyone, to see his Lord in everyone, that one has to wash the resentment out of one’s mind, and it is this desperation caused out of (if i may say, sincere) love for the Guru that helped us to overcome the rancour and sense of hurt and violation of one’s self. Plus the loving warmth of the Guru’s Feet which helped us forget those whom we felt had wronged us.

Jody-ji does call us "optimistic" at a later stage. We would say we are worse than optimistic, we are naive, totally. Even after one ‘bad’ experience. What can we do, having fallen into the Feet of the glorious Arunachala ; what can we possibly do but love everyone and everything.

Perhaps Jody will understand our feelings, being a bhakta himself, or perhaps he will mock us and our Beloved; either way we will remember that he is the same soul as us.

About False / Occluding Gurus

We often label gurus as false and occluding. i present some thoughts here, please note the words ‘perhaps’, ’seems’, ‘appears’, etc.

Many of us already have distorted ideas that could prevent or hinder or distract from realization. e.g. some people have ideas about miracles, and seek out gurus who promise a lot of them. Be with them and your life will be full of miracles! Others will be attracted by a guru who spends hours criticizing others. This is perhaps because thats what those folk like doing, and listening to this guru gives them more to talk of, more to make them feel superior to others.

So a lot of false seekers, or immature seekers are attracted to gurus who promote the occluding ideas they already believe in. These gurus fuel these ideas, imagine this idea being a balloon which the guru is blowing up. For a few sincere seekers who landed up with these ‘occluding’ gurus, a day will come when this balloon blows up on their face, their occluding ideas are destroyed, and now their real ’satguru’ appears, and they are able to imbibe his directions, since the shit has been cleared off.

Had the satguru come in earlier the occluding ideas would never have allowed the seeker to appreciate and follow the right path to realization. The occluding guru however, performed the task of cleaning up the garbage, not by showing the aspirant that it was garbage, but by promoting it, expanding it, to a point where the aspirant could see that it was garbage. in some people it could take a few months for the person to see the light, i personally know of one (very notable in the West) person who took fifteen years to have his head cleared by one such ‘occluding’ guru. so its up to the person whether he will ever come out of his ideas, and how much time he will take.

Anyway, getting back to these occluding gurus, i could offhandedly, put them in two categories (only becos this is what first came to mind, and i didn’t bother to think further whether there is a 3rd or 4th category). there’s one guru who knows he is not real, he knows he is not realized, and cannot help another reach realization. he knows he is suckering everyone, but doesnt know that in reality one or two suckers will be genuine seekers who will one day see the truth, thanks to him, walk out, and find their true guru. he doesn’i know that he’s part of this cosmic drama, part of the persons ultimate realization, without him the seeker would never have reached and recognized his satguru. the other guru, thinks he is real, and realized, and that he can actually help others. he does not know that he is not really realized and can’t help anyone be realized, and that the only help he can give others is occlude the hell out of them, so that they leave him.

either way, all such gurus are all part of that seeker’s roadmap, all are essential in the growth of the seeker. they are all part of that great cosmic plan.

Losing one’s identity

Q: I am facing new things which I have not faced before.

Very good. This new space is your reality. Whatsoever you have known up to now was not really you. It was the identity given by others – the parents, the society, the world. Now you are coming to encounter yourself.

Sometimes it will be very scary – so remember it. Sometimes you will feel that you are losing your identity… getting lost. So remember, that is how it has to be – and go into it. Lose all track of yourself, and then for the first time you will be back home. You have to dissolve into this new space.
There is going to be a great struggle between the old and the new. Ahead there is going to be almost a war within you, because the new will try to spread all over you, and the old will try to resist, to fight it back, not to allow it to happen. There is going to be a conflict, a wrestling, between you and you,
your past and your future, that which you have been up to now and that which you are going to be from now on.

So always remember that the past has to be dropped and the future has to be chosen. It is risky… the past is very secure, comfortable, convenient – but it is dead. It is like a grave. If you choose it, you choose death.

The future is very scary, frightening, but it is open. It is alive. It is adventure. Risk is there, insecurity is there, but that’s how life flowers – in insecurity. That’s how life comes to be integrated – in risk.
The more risk you take, the more grounded you are. Each moment will be a thrill – sometimes very frightening, sometimes very blissful. I can promise only one thing – that it will be a constant thrill,
frightening or blissful, but it .will be a thrill. Each moment you will be coming upon something new.
It will be a constant wonder. It will be both a wandering and a wondering.

From now onwards it will be very difficult for you to know who you are.
This new space will destroy all old identities, past formulations of your being, boundaries, demarcations, definitions.
This new space is very dangerous. It is like death. It can spread all over you. It is going to kill you utterly, completely.
But in that very destruction is creation. In that very destruction you will start having a new life which is eternal… which knows no beginning and no end… which is not of this world, and which is not of time and which is not of mind.

So if you can dare, the benediction is very close by. If you are ready to be crucified, the resurrection is waiting for you. So help this new spirit to grow. Help this new spirit to overpower you, to overwhelm
you, to efface you completely and to erase you completely. That’s what meditation is all about.
… whenever out of nothingness you feel an urgency to come. come, mm?
… I am this new space. So cooperate with it and you will be cooperating with me.
Surrender to it and you will be surrendering to me….

Q: I even stopped meditation. I don’t do it, and I was feeling disturbed about that. Everything seems to be routine, dull. I don’t know what to do with it. I want to know what it’s all about.

Just accept this state. Don’t condemn it. Don’t say that there is no enthusiasm, don’t say that it is dull – because these very words are antagonistic. They show a dislike – that you would like to be enthusiastic but there is no enthusiasm. You would like to be interested in many things and there is no interest. You would like to be very sharp and everything is dull.

Accept it so totally that there is no judgement. This is the way you are. And in fact what is there to be interested in life? The truth is that there is nothing much. What is there? It is a dull routine.
Just accept it and it will be a tremendous help. I’m not saying that by accepting it the enthusiasm will come back – no. I’m simply saying that by accepting it, you will not feel it as a lack of enthusiasm.
You will feel it as a sort of relaxation – the whole attitude changes. Then you will not call it dullness, you will call it a non-ambitiousness. And it makes a lot of difference what you call it.

There is a saying of Lao Tzu that the whole world seems to be very sharp and intelligent – only he is dull. But he was joking. He was saying that the whole world seems to be foolishly interested –
running and rushing here and there – for nothing!

Something has started to happen to you through meditation. That’s why you are feeling no interest.
A sort of renunciation is arising. So just go on working and remain uninterested – there is nothing to be interested in. By and by a great benediction will arise in you. Right now you are feeling restless because you feel that something is wrong. Once you accept it, the restlessness disappears and nothing is wrong. Then this is the way you are, and this is the way you have to grow.
As I can see, your energy is better than ever. As I can see, it is more settled, but this very settlement is giving you trouble. Even if interest in meditation has disappeared, let it go. There is no need to force meditation. This is the way meditation will happen to you.

Just sit silently. When you have nothing to do, just sit silently. Thoughts move in the mind – let them. Just be a watcher, and that too, not with a stress, with no tension. What else to do? Thoughts are moving and you are there, so you see them, but there is no need to concentrate. Just a very soft look… an unfocused look.

For three months be in this dullness. This dullness is going to function as a meditation. This is the way renunciation is coming to you. You will feel indifferent to many things – they are worthless. In fact the problem was that before you were feeling so interested and now you are not, so you think that something is missing. The problem was before, not now.

When a person becomes a little quiet, many things disappear and look foolish. Why go to the hotel and to the club and talk nonsense to people and wear masks and show faces and smile? For what? What is the point of it all?

This is good. So put your energy into your work, and the remaining time simply sit and rest, close your eyes. If you welcome this state, this state will give you great benefit. Great is going to be the pay-off, so don’t reject it. And read more and more Lao Tzu in these three months; that will be the right background. Just read a few lines from anywhere.

His whole tape is that whatsoever is, is good – his renunciation is tremendous. Even Buddha and Mahavir, their renunciation is not so total because they are still interested in achieving something –
maybe not in the world; they are interested in enlightenment.

Lao Tzu says, ’All nonsense! The world is nonsense – enlightenment too!’ He simply sits there doing nothing.

Just see the beauty of it. No interest means no desire. No enthusiasm means no passion, no fever, no madness. You are becoming saner, but you have been insane for so long that the sanity will look a little weird. You will have to get accustomed to it.

But I am happy. You may be dull – I bless you. Be really dull! And I don’t see restlessness. I see a certain tranquillity coming, a certain stillness descending on you. I can almost feel it and touch it; it is there. But you have a wrong attitude about it, so that is creating a barrier.

Drop that barrier and let it drown you completely, utterly.
