I've noticed that deeksha started out as a free offering say at a friends house, but now I notice they are asking for money donations. This is just a way of life here in Marin county and environs.People can't get enough of this kind of crap. In a capitalist framwork surrender is synonymous with franchising. Is this what the wise old Rishis's had in mind??

I think this is a theme of our time .
you dare not say the Emperor or Emperess wears no clothes. When you do it scares people and pisses them off, because they are finding something. I think there is a tendancy in people to want to be completly absorbed into an idea or belief or person, because they think it is an answer. but the greatest teaching is probably that there are no answers, gimmicks, mumbo jumbo dickshas etc. too bad it always boils down to multi-level marketing and group think.
