Spiritually Laid Back

Pseudo-enlightenment or getting spiritually laid

Or even a case of sour grapes for this unliberated soul, u mite say!

It is sooo sad, how people on this path, can get so desperate to be enlightened that they can (or their egos can) finally create an enlightened ego/self, which thinks it has died, that there is no one there etc. I really hate to mention specifics, becos then it becomes a hate campaign, but if i don’t then there is no example to show the desperation.

After Freddyji’s leaving his "guru" i was waiting and waiting for when the other leading westerner, K Windbreaker (name changed to protect ego) would call it a day, and confess he had got laid spiritually. But he did a greater one on himself, by declaring himself enlightened. His description of course clearly reveals its own falsity. If he had to fake it, he could have at least read Sri Ramana or some others and faked it properly.

Here is some of the crap KW writes:

"I had always seen enlightenment as the end of my spiritual journey, the ultimate in human attainment. I now see that it is merely another beginning. Enlightenment is both an event and a process. The event corresponds to the restructuring of the brain following the ‘diksha’. It is also an ever-deepening process. Consciousness has its own intelligence, its own cycles, and it is an endless journey of discovery."

And so here we have it. The illusion still hasn’t ended, there is STILL someone there, experiencing change, experiencing some "ever-deepening". And so KW has laid himself.
Interestingly, for a couple of years after he attended the ‘dicksha’, he had admitted not being enlightened and that Bugwan told him it would happen soon. But KW’s business (books, workshops etc) could not wait. Now he has gone back and re-written the whole thing to appear as though he did get enlightened.

And so we have one more enlightened ego on the loose.
Someone writes:
"I work as a healer and gave a treatment to a lady in Germany who just came back from the 21 days trip in India with (name removed). There was absolutely no trace of super divine light; she was full of entities and other wierd stuff. I didn’t tell her anything because I knew she would tell me I’m an idiot. She had already planned the next trip to see (name removed)!!!
Anyway, ultimatly it’s their karma! "

Here’s what an acquaintance of the divine couple has to say:
"I used to know ***** Bug-wan as Vijay Kumar, a clerk in the Life Insurance Corp of India. He was involved in running a school in Rajupeta. He used to be quite a charlatan. He was a basically promoted by a naive and gullible Dr. Shankar , a former Principal of Valley school. These two chaps got the land through Dr. Rajasekar Reddy and Mr.Shreeniwas.

It is your choice: You can join this band and live a lie or you could see through such Charlatans and dare to live alone. This ***** fellow has stolen the ideas of J.Krishnamurti, Osho, Vipasana and others. He is a veteran crook!"

So if you still want to be gang-banged, head on to South-India with only $6000 in your pocket for 21 days, and if you are indian, you get laid a lot faster, at a heavy discount (in 3 days for about Rs 5000). But that’s just the account opener. Soon the demands for the Rs 100,000 darshans start coming in.

What more can i say? I am quite speechless.

Osho on UG/Ramana

From this page:

Just the other day I was reading a lecture of U. G. Krishnamurti. He says he went to see Ramana Maharshi. He was not attracted - because he was chopping vegetables.
Yes, Ramana Maharshi was that kind of man, very ordinary. Chopping vegetables! U. G. Krishnamurti must have gone to see somebody extraordinary sitting on a golden throne or something. Ramana Maharshi just sitting on the floor and chopping vegetables? preparing vegetables for the kitchen! He was very much frustrated.
Then another day he went and saw him reading jokes. Finished for ever! This man knows nothing. This man is very ordinary. He left the ashram; it was not worth it.
But I would like to say to you: this man, Ramana Maharshi, is one of the greatest Buddhas ever born to the world. That was his Buddhahood in action! U. G. Krishnamurti must have been in search of a pretender. He could not see the ordinariness and the beauty of it and the grace of it. And this same man, U. G. Krishnamurti, lived with Swami Sivanand of Rishikesh for seven years - and that chap was just stupid - and practised yoga with him. And after seven years he recognized that he has nothing; but after seven years, he took seven years. That simply shows that he also has a mighty dull mind. Seven years to see that Sivanand has nothing. Seven seconds are more than enough! And with Ramana Maharshi, seven seconds were enough - because he saw him chopping vegetables or reading jokes, looking at cartoons. That’s how the ordinary mind, the egoistic mind functions. The ego is always searching for something bigger, some bigger ego. And the true sage has no ego; he is an ordinary man. He is utterly ordinary - that is his extraordinariness!
I would like to say to U. G. Krishnamurti: he should have looked in the eyes of Ramana Maharshi. He looked only at the hands which were chopping vegetables. He should have looked into his eyes - with what love he was chopping the vegetables. He should have looked into his eyes to see what love he was. He was the Real Man. There is only one indication and that is love. But to understand love you have to be a little silent, a little loving, a little open. If you are full of prejudices about how the enlightened man should be, then you will go on missing. You should not have any prejudices. Just look into the eyes of a real man, and suddenly something will start stirring in your heart too. Tears will come to your eyes, your energy will have a great delight, your heart will throb with new vigour. Your soul will spread its wings.

Beware of the God

Choosing A Guru

When choosing a guru you should ask yourself the following questions:
1. Does he bite?
2. Is he good with children?
3. How much does he eat, and how much will it cost to feed him?
4. If he isn’t neutered, and you don’t intend to have him neutered, are you willing to put up with a guru that tries to hump everyone in sight?
5. Is the guru you are considering well-bred, and does he come with papers? (And not just a Post-it note from Muktananda that has to be translated ad nauseam to try and make it sound more significant than it was intended to be).

Go on over here and read more.

Kali Yuga

This is the Kali Yuga,
Even Rakshashas (demons) will incarnate as teachers to mislead you.
Those who must be destroyed by these demons will be.

Test the Guru by the teaching:
without inquiry there is no teaching.
Shun every teacher who does not teach inquiry.
Directly looking at your own face is the only teaching.

If the Guru says ‘I am enlightened,’
it means the ego is enlightened so stay away.
Western teachers who say this are preachers so stay away
and only write books to load more garbage on seekers,
and more money in their pockets.

They will attract so many students,
but in Kali Yuga it is the falsehood which will draw the crowds.
The Truth and the true Gurus will be neglected.

Please Help Me

Every now and then I get a mail like this one (name of "guru" removed, so as not to offend delicate readers).

"Hi
this is (name removed).
we are confused about (guru’s  name/s) it wud be very helpful if u let us know y are u left (guru’s name/s) as we are also facing some problems.
please be kind to reply
it is very urgent
thank u"

Now on one hand, i have no desire left to bad-mouth people. Yet, should I sit silently while someone else faces the same problem I did. In my professional line, I would gladly give you advice of good and bad products and how to work around problems, free of cost, so can I not help a bit in this field. Or is the spirit of surrender to apply only to the spiritual field. Sri Ramana says something like, "as long as you think you are the doer, if you see a hungry person on the road, you should help out".

And so once again, at the expense of a barrage of hate-mail, and being told how much i must be suffering and in pain, i shall put out some thoughts, names removed so people are less offended.

Being a complete blithering idiot, I asked an intelligent friend whether I should reply or just keep mum in the spirit of surrender. Here is part of the reply i got which i quote.

"I came to the conclusion that (name/s removed) is/are not really enlightened beings, but people exploiting those who long for liberation or happiness. Those who go to them may feel better temporarily, but this is just a trap. Soon (as you have likely found out) you will be asked for more and more service (recruiting others), and more and more money, and the "finish line" will always be pulled back.

Real Gurus do exist, but they never ask for money or make promises of easy enlightenment. or lay claim to miracles."

The friend goes on to later say "if you send something along those lines, brief and true, you may help him scramble out of that pit. If someone asks for spiritual help, I think it is right to respond. We know of the greatest help that has ever existed, and it seems appropriate to let anyone who asks know of (removed)"

My only other addition to the above is to google the guru’s name and see what comes up. The internet is not all truth but you will still get an idea. The same goes for Sarlo’s Guru Ratings and Guruphiliac. One hour of internet searching can save you many wasted months of chasing some megalomaniac and years of hard-earned money.

Beware of promises, pleasures and powers achieved or anticipated. All these seduce you from the Truth.

Oh Well

All i get on this lousy blog is some hate mail, usually from some kracki-ite, i guess. My mail box is full of mails from those hypnotized robots devs asking me to fill in a form about the miracles happening in my life thanks to K.
The only miracle that happened is that I got out of that cult alive, before they emptied my bank balance, and hypntoized the hell out of me.

I get SMS’s from those sorry folk telling me to hold a pen thinking of K, and K will write using my hand. Now I know he totally remote controls those zombies, but no thanks please. Enough is enough!

In a week or two when i am back online, i shall delete this blog. So take it off your bookmarks, find a better place to kill time. Find someone else to blindly follow who can take away all you have, in return for a larger ego. Its your life. If it is in your destiny to make the same mistakes i did, go ahead make ‘em. Don’t ever ever make the mistake of learning from someone else’s mistakes. You have many many more lives, I assure you, to make/repeat mistakes, to suffer, to be duped.

Enjoy the illusion.
